You don't need all of them — even one integration unlocks powerful insights. More integrations are planned based on user demand.
No — a Withings scale is optional, not required. The dashboard works great with just MyFitnessPal, Apple Health, or Google Fit. However, a Withings Body+ or Body Scan scale adds body composition data — body fat %, muscle mass, bone mass, and visceral fat — which gives you significantly richer insights and helps you understand whether you're losing fat or just water weight.

Beta users are our most important users — you'll help shape the product and receive a discounted rate when paid plans launch.
MyFitnessPal is excellent for logging food — it's one of the best calorie tracking apps available, and we integrate with it. But it only shows you one piece of the puzzle. The Scale Truth connects MFP with your weight data, activity levels, sleep quality, and body composition to show you how they all interact. You can see whether your calorie deficit is actually translating to fat loss, why your weight might spike on a particular day, and how your sleep quality is affecting your appetite and progress.
Accurate weight loss tracking requires looking at trends, not daily numbers. Weigh yourself at the same time each day (morning, after bathroom, before eating) and look at your 7-day moving average. The Scale Truth does this automatically — it smooths out the noise from water retention, meal timing, and hormonal cycles so you can see genuine fat loss progress. We also correlate your weight with calories, sleep, and activity so you understand the "why" behind every trend.
Your health data is personal and we treat it that way. We only request read-only access to your connected apps — we cannot modify your data in Withings, MyFitnessPal, or any other integration.
